Hi, I’m Sandina and I am glad to see you here!
My Story
The most essential part of my life has always been art.
I discovered art as a child, and since then it transformed into a lifelong love story.
I tried different forms of art (and I mean it, a lot of them), still, I thought I couldn’t find the one. I thought I should choose one and commit. Well, that’s till I learned to embrace myself the way I am and truly enjoy whatever I do.
…and here’s the story of it!
What I discovered on my journey of going through depression, anxiety, years of therapy, and hundreds of books is that the most valuable thing you can do for yourself is to accept yourself JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.
I mean it. Will all the beauty. With all the mess.
Because all that is YOU is there for a reason, it’s what’s making you YOU, and has place in your life.
This is why I created this blog. This is what I am promoting here:
HOW TO THRIVE AT BEING YOU
Once I gave up the ideas of
• perfection
• trying to squeeze myself into a box of what I “should” and what I “can’t”
• believing I should be a super expert at everything in order to feel “ready”
• looking for acceptance and validation
• feeling scared to share with the world my true self
• trying to follow logic and reason instead of feeling and intuitiveness…
…it’s when I started living a LIFE THAT I ENJOY.
I started listening to myself. To what I want. What I need. I started listening to my feelings. I embraced every part of me and my creativity and felt good sharing it. I started to speak to myself with love.
And that’s when the most extraordinary thing happened: It all finally made sense.
When I embraced everything about my life and my creative journey is when everything felt right.
As I let myself explore, I found every aspect of the creative process to be fascinating and healing.
• Poetry — as a way to speak the tales of my soul.
• Blogging and articles — to share my experience with like-minded women, who just want to feel free and learn to value who they are
• Courses — oh I love creating courses! Making the set (and using baking foil as a light reflector and a a teapot box for holding my lamp higher, aren’t these moments creativity at it’s best?). Also I learn so much while creating the courses and have so many insights for myself, which I find very healing.
• Painting and illustrations — to let the colors of my being come to life.
• I even create sweaters — as a way of transforming my art into a loving embrace.
The truth is, when I embraced everything about my life and my creative journey is when it all felt right.
As you see, it is a blog where every aspect of myself makes sense and coexist harmonically together. And I love it!
It is a place where creativity, self-knowledge, healing and psychology, embracing the sacred feminine, and connecting to the inner child all make sense together. Are all colors of the same painting.
This website is an expression of my soul, my vision of world — a place of freedom and love I consciously try create.
