Every woman is born with an immense power within — her creative energy, the sacred feminine.
the sacred feminine: she is nature
When a woman is in connection with her sacred feminine energy, she is a Goddess that walks on Earth. This energy is her connection to nature, to wilderness. The soul of Mother Nature, Gaia, Earth Goddess lives and breathes through her.
She is nature itself, when the sacred feminine energy flows freely throughout her body. Her breasts are two volcanos, her lungs — the soothing forests, her blood — the running rivers, her eyes — deep crystal lakes.
Just like nature, a woman is capable of performing extraordinary things. Her body carries and births life, her spirit grasps the cosmic mysteries, her heart contains the love of the world.
Every woman has an innate connection with this energy, and a deep longing for activating it. The most beautiful part is that this energy is always there, awaiting. It is given by nature. And all a woman needs is to remember why she chose, at a certain point in life, to repress it and “separate” herself from it.
The feminine energy is an infinite source of creativity, potential, sexuality, and beauty.
HERE ARE SOME POWERFUL WAYS TO RECONNECT TO THE DEVINE FEMININE:
come back into your body
It might sound like simple advice, but the body is the primal vessel for this energy to flow. We are the most resourceful, the most, energized when we are in the connection with the body, in the present moment.
In an interview, Dr. Alexa Altman explained that we avoid being in the present moment because it does not feel safe. When I heard it immediately something clicked within my mind. I realized that this is the reason we don’t feel connected to the present moment, to the energy of the body, because the main element for being in the present is to feel safe.
There are many ways to reconnect to the body physically, this is a description of some that I find most effective:
get in touch with water
The story of women and water goes a long way. Just like a woman, water is powerful, flowing, and the source of life.
You can take a bath with salts and herbs or go for a swim, if it is possible. Or just take a long shower and feel the sensation of water on the body. It can be very healing, to allow the water to caress your body and cleanse it energetically.
spend time alone
Spending time alone helps cleanse all the picked-up noise — other people’s thoughts, visions, and energies. To reconnect with the body in your alone time you spend time in nature, meditate, do some yoga/stretching, or just lay down and rest. Choose and activity that you enjoy both physically and mentally, and that will allow you to focus on your body and its needs.
heal your emotional self
The physical connection with the body is important, but as described above, the most important is being connected to your emotional self.
Addressing the emotions we store is one of the main aspects of healing as a woman. This means healing the trauma and making the present moment feel safe again. Healing the childhood memories. Inviting more love for oneself.
There are many ways to try when undertaking a healing journey, like:
• journaling
• reading books about healing, therapy, rising the level of consciousness, and about way to address the emotions
• having support of family, friends, and like-minded people
• doing meditations
• taking self-help courses
• finding ways of turning your pain into purpose.
I consider therapy to be the most helpful way of healing your past. You can read about therapy and why it is so powerful in my article How Does Therapy Work? 3 Powerful Reasons Why Therapy Works.
be creative
I believe creativity is the form of meditation that is most natural to women. A woman’s spirit comes to life through her creativity and self-expression. A woman is the embodiment of the creating power of the universe, and when she creates, she manifests that power.
Being creative is a way of honoring the feminine energy, of letting it flowy freely and gracefully. Be creative in any way that makes your soul feel free, that makes you totally forget about time.
For me it is writing poems, blog posts, illustration, painting, photography. Also, when I am creative it is when I feel the most in my element.
How do you know if you are in tune with your creative side:
• you will cherish and value yourself more.
• your will value your talents.
• you will appreciate whatever you create and consider your art worthy.
• you will have more power and resource to follow your dreams.
how to know you are connected to the sacred feminine
Finally, the most rewarding part is that when you are connected to the feminine energy YOU ARE HERE. You are more connected to the body, to your senses. The pleasure starts flowing through the the body like a warm, liquid fire. You finally feel like yourself. You feel powerful. You feel strong and capable.
A deep feeling of love for yourself and the world is flowing through your body.
Of course, it is not possible to feel connected 24/7. We are human beings, we respond emotionally to the outer world. Day by day activities require our attention.
Still, it is worthy to try to return to yourself as often as possible. Make this about you, explore what is comfortable to you. Set as a goal to return to yourself from time to time. To reconnect to your power. To heal and energize the body and the soul.
It will transform into a journey of connecting to life itself.
